Every morning we have plans to accomplish certain goals. Something as routine as planning meals to putting all efforts into that sensational performance at your presentation.
To be prepared for the day is the most important personal development hack that does good to all in all human societies.
Cold showers, prayer time, yoga, and meditation are all those good things that keep you charged throughout the day, and you begin to consider yourself as that lifestyle guru who has tamed his time to improve himself and would never give up now because success seems near.
It goes on similarly for two years, or say 10 years, and then one day you stop, give up, and feel like renouncing because where you reached does not give you mental or physical satisfaction.
To help you stay moving, carry out the following few things as priorities before you set out to work to make it every day with a stoic wisdom so that you can continue for 30-40 years without giving up and enjoy yourself more without needing validation by any family member or friends, or even yourself.
- Clean your electric or gas stove and thank the almighty for the power this fire of the stove has to cook meals for you. It will prepare you to cook for yourself or enjoy the coffee with a few nuts that reduces stress on your liver and detoxifies it and is good for relieving anxiety about anything untoward regarding work or personal conflicts.
- Read at least 2 pages of a self-help book or psychological text that is insightful, no matter if you do not have a taste for it. Every person on Earth relates to a psychological text if they aren’t insane. You can even read a book on ethics. It will create motive in yourself and will prevent you from faltering in your errands throughout the day. Read it to your children with playful examples in the evenings if you want to relive the moment of consuming such content that can transform you, point towards your mistakes, and create ethical living among your children or other family members in a delightful manner if you can instigate your inner creative.
- Before you set out to work, you should have at least two hours to spare. For me it is almost 5 hours. Because I work from 9 am onwards but get up at 4 am. But the beginners of inner transformation must have at least 2 extra hours before work. Solve a kaleidoscope puzzle, leaving it incomplete. Or a game of Sudoku. Return home in the evening thinking about it. Master the puzzles and enjoy your progress. It will develop a great sense of purpose and vitality in your life. This is because you will erase all dirty little thinking about other people and about the stuck feelings you have about your life’s situation.
- Clean your toilet and bathroom immediately after you complete ablutions. At least wipe the mess you make and dry it. This practice makes you laborious and hard-working. It is a good time to meditate about what you should prepare yourself with so that you find strategies and feel motivated to live the day and work for it. As long as you are not old, retired, and have arthritis, you should make your dwelling speck clean from your ablutions. If you are old, just relax, as you don’t have to work much; you have already earned yourself a living because you have lived that busy life and can take your own sweet time to clean or get help cleaning your ablutions.
- Just before you leave home or get to your worktable and have finished breakfast, simply look out of the window and see the sun or your plants or other people moving that help provide you with a sense of solidarity because they have set out and are living the day as you are. Feel that thrill about the fact that you are alive and a part of the day, like everyone is a part of your day, even the stray dogs waggling their tails and enjoying the morning sun.
With such practices one feels the cohesiveness even if you live alone, smugness, naturalness, and awareness of life that flows through your soul, and one becomes mindful, notices little things, and achieves courage and mental resilience.
If you have to set to work at 8am and you begin your day at 6am. First get over with ablutions and cleaning in one hour, read two pages in 15 minutes, grab a coffee, and meanwhile solve sudoku or kaleidoscope for 20 minutes, look out for 5 minutes, and you are left with 15 minutes to pack breakfast or grab a meal on the way.
Those who need to travel far for work have to have a gap of 3 hours at least; those with children must spare a minimum of 4 hours before work but should incorporate these activities as a priority for personal development to keep themselves sharp, quiet, intuitive, and successful.
Manage morning hours with a peaceful yet busy routine to set fire into yourself to burn it, your energy, throughout the day with purposeful living. When you have worked at home, work seems less stressful, and you are sharper in handling everything. You will sleep like a log without any tension during your nights, and all your conflicts will streamline when you won’t care about anyone else who matters less in life, and you can become more dedicated towards your friends and family.
