I am facing a very profound derailment from writing my book chapter these days.
Still, I cannot call it procrastination, because this time it is a deeper quest for knowledge that is driving me crazy to read many journals before I can summarize all facts. This is how it actually is and should be so that you are answerable to yourself whether you got to become a scholar in the subject you want to write about and if so, you can teach it or start a clinic by exactly implementing your new knowledge acquisition.
Nowadays, it is easier to clear doubts using AI, but one should be careful because as an average doctor, even I have defied the information suggested by generative AI.
By the way, it is a blessed morning due to the fact that I feel alert and involved in practicing my writing skill as well as inspiring my readers to do their best in any sphere.
If it comes to improving your lifestyle, do your best so that the background work is half done to produce your talented work.
The earlier part of my morning hours filled me with anxiety because I had that urge to talk to someone and discuss my plans. And I found no one.
So, I decided to carry out a strength training workout, have tea, and finally write instead of embroidery or other artwork.
I did not want to pray but I did. And after such an anxiety-filled morning, suddenly I relaxed and sat to write this post.
I am trying to live well.
I am doing my best to deliver knowledge to my students.
I am doing my best to write the chapter.
You should not undermine your best efforts. This is because, cumulatively, they bring you better rewards in the form of knowledge, integrity, peace of mind, health, success, and longevity.
For example, a chapter well-written out of your cognition-supported account would certainly upgrade your skill, and you would innovate, apply, research, and create even more. Many of your clients or patients will benefit from what you advise, and it would add on to your expertise.
Yesterday, I came across a doctor’s post that created a short video on the importance of reducing nutritional supplements in your diet and sticking to balanced whole food choices. I was impressed by the effort, and given that nutraceuticals are now encouraged to correct eating flaws, I could see that what he is propagating has merit.
Anything that is supplemented must not be taken without a deficiency or a particular physiological malcondition.
With this revelation, I tried my best to analyze the best way to nourish myself during the day. I do my level best to plan my meals and recently it has become a very elaborate task because I am managing diabetes.
Meal planning has helped. It is not like a self-obsession but more like a ritual. It is reaping beneficial outcomes for managing my muscle strength, academic performance, mental health, and quality of work, along with a relatively better memory and cognition.
My emotional well-being is also becoming better. This is because I am doing my best to get by these days, until more important things land up in my life to solve and create better.
I have reached someplace. It is a milestone that needs to be continued and maintained. It is time to slow down, but I must not stagnate. It is time to age with it, by imbibing the fact that I have been doing my best and I must do my level best and not settle for less.
This type of thinking will surely develop any person holistically, given their social status and monetary compromises. There is also some satisfaction felt with less money. You will find yourself satisfied with your hard work, having fewer choices of clothes to wear for work, less make-up on your skin, and a cleaner and better metabolism because you avoid affluent food and drinks and manage with less.
Remember that less is more. And despite less respect, money, freedom, or fun, you have to strengthen your knowledge, holistic health, and lifestyle. Try investing in yourself judicially, take care of your family, and feel the pain of meagre resources but have a very big heart to accept life’s challenges, educate, and be educated.
I am a proponent of better human development anytime over freedom from authority.
Epictetus, the stoic master, was a slave for most of his life but he never felt enslaved. He developed a stoic mindset and was a teacher to many affluent people who took life lessons from him to become great at what they were doing and hone success.
Don’t dream away your life. Get things done in the best way possible and you will reach somewhere without regret. Doing your best would want you to learn and you will allot some time during the day in personal development. You don’t always need a coach. Be aware of your flaws and work on them at least for 15 minutes daily.
Don’t undermine such simple principles of life and surely you shall attain your goals some day. You may not make it big. But you will be big and difficult to underestimate if you are learning and improving your work and yourself every day.
